Hi folks, here's the latest news...
WINDINGS
OOAL0004, the debut album from windings (titled "windings") is available from all good record stores from Friday June 24th. windings will be doing an instore at Tower Records, Dublin on that day to celebrate the release. He will also be playing with Smog next week in Galway, and has some more dates lined up including a support slot to Caribou (Manitoba) in Cork.
Here are all the coming dates:
Mon June 13th: Roisin Dubh, Galway (support to Smog)
Thu June 16th: Visual Arts Festival, Carlow (with Daghda Dance Co.)
Fri June 24th: Tower Records Instore, Dublin
Tue June 28th: Wexford (with Crayonsmith, venue tbc)
Fri July 01st: Upstairs Dolans (with The Fewer, The Better)
Sat July 02nd: Club One, Phoenix St, Cork (support to Caribou, formerly Manitoba)
A new website is being launched pretty soon, so check into www.windingswindings.com
REST
Rest have a few dates lined up also. They are:
24.06.05: Spiegeltent, Cork. Appearing with The Shades. Part of the Cork Midsummer Festival.

GIVEAMANAKICK
giveamanakick have finished their second album, tentatively titled "We are The Way Forward". It should be hitting shops sometime in August. In the meantime, gamak will be playing sporadic dates around Ireland until a major nationwide tour in August and a UK tour in September. Stay tuned folks!

Waiting Room are currently busy writing and recording material for their second album, due in 2006, so currently there are wr no gigs planned.
LABEL NIGHTS
Out On A Limb Records will be hosting two label nights in July. Rest, Ten Past Seven & giveamanakick will be playing these dates. One is in Galway (Thursday July 14th) and the other is in Cork (An Brog- Wesnesday July 27th). Check 'em out if you're around.
