Hi folks
Hope you are all keeping well...some news for you here!
HOORAY FOR HUMANS || LP OUT 26TH OCTOBER!!
We're delighted to announce that the next release on the label will be the debut album from Hooray For Humans. The album was recorded this summer with Ross O'Donovan (Ten Past Seven, Waiting Room, Cars In Walls), and will be "dropping" in stores all around Ireland on Friday 26th October; and will also be available via Itunes. We are very excited after hearing its eleven tracks and we hope you are too!
A new version of "Signature" is up, and it will also be released as a digital single just before the album launch. Check in on the myspace over the coming weeks for sneak peeks at artwork, and maybe another track at some stage!
A video for "Signature" will be shot in Cork on Saturday September 21st. We are looking for volunteers for a party (ie extras!!). Interested? It's gonna entail a house gig and loads of fun, so it should be deadly! Just reply to this mail with your info etc.
More updates to come on the single and album over the coming weeks, with loads of more dates to be added. Here are some for the moment:
REST || NEW LIVE DATES
Rest have just announced some shows coming up over the next few months, with more to be added. "Operation: Impending Doom" is available through Itunes, as well as all record stores in Ireland, and some in the UK
CRAYONSMITH || SHOWS WITH DUSTIN THE TURKEY, MICE PARADE, DANIELSON & MENEGUAR + HEADLINE DATES
Crayonsmith will be performing live on 'The Once A Week Show with Dustin and Sinead' (yep, Dustin the turkey!) on Sat.Sept.29 at 12:00pm on RTE 2. They'll be playing 'Bad Days Move On' from the new album due out in early 2008. Keep checking the Myspace for updates just in case the airing time changes.
Ciarán did an interview for the Newstalk programme 'Splanc' about a week ago and did acoustic versions of '16 Going on 63' and 'The Boat', both from the new album. We are just waiting on a MP3/Podcast link but again, stay in touch with the Myspace as he'll put them up as soon as he gets them.
Other than that, still recording the new album on their breaks in between gigs, which include some tasty supports and headline dates.
GIVEAMANAKICK || NEW DATES ADDED
gamak have just added some new live shows. Album number 3 is almost done, some small bits to finish up. It's gonna be early 2008 by the time it is out though; we will update you as soon as everything is confirmed
WINDINGS || SHOWS WITH CARIBOU
Windings plays two shows next week with the wonderful Caribou. Album update coming soon, we promise!
