I'm the national League of moderators. Must be my FAI upbringing.

Instead of deleting a post I deleted a thread. IN other words all that talk about playing football sometime this weekend or was it next weekend??? All those maps, all that love.

It's now gone, never to be reclaimed. Guess I am like Don Givens after all.

Sorry folks. Better get orgainsing that match again

well I would have gone if I knew where it was on

I admit the prospect of searching around the Harold's Cross area in the rain while hungover for an all-weather pitch with Joss and Billy on it wasn't entirely unattractive, but I weighed up the situation and thought it might prove fruitless.

Hector was about as good as Ronnie Rosenthal. Although we wore the same colours, but fought on different sides. A bit like Romeo and Juliet - except it was more like Iago and Othello and neither of us actually fancied the other.

You're all fucking wusses. I mean... there were three school-kids (two can't have even hit puberty) and a dog playing. Bloody hell lads.... looking out the window and seeing clouds, and getting all wussy about playing in the rain. Joss, Hector, me, Kanu and Littbarski = real men.

Especially me, Hector and Kanu.
11-6 up and then won the '3 goals the winner' bit 3-1.
Yes.

Yes.

3-2, but their second goal was cheating cos it was corner, remember? and me and kanu stood there arguing the point cos we were too knackered to run back and defend.

still, justice was seen to be served with the winner. scored by moi.

That little showboating 10 year old was deadly though.
Not as much tackling back as I'd have liked of course.
Unlike me.

He was deadly as in Ilie Dumitrescu deadly. Lots of skill, but a glory hunter, and fairly lazy. I was unimpressed by the two louts in the Barcelona jerseys.
