the Ocean's movies were finally redeemed with this one cos let's face it - ocean's 12 sucked bollocks.

same old schtick - trying to fuck over [al pacino's] casino. it is what it is, but i enjoyed it.

ellen barkin has plastic surgery face.

good soundtrack.

saw it last night..thought al pacino over acted himself off the screen(i know..al pacino in over-acting shocker) but i agree with lala that the suspense was kinda taken out of it considering it was all spelled out before hand..no 11 but far better than 12..

Enjoyable all right.
Too many mini heists rather than one big one menat thet there was no real suspense though.
Still it was stylish, and it pisses all over 12

i dunno - i thought 12 had more mini-heist action in it whereas this one was all one big stunt, like ocean's 11.

anyway, good movie - not enough brad pitt though :p

Saw this too. Better than I expected after the smug-fest that was 12.

Ellen Barkin was frightening-looking! She looked and acted like she was carved from mahogany.

The best thing about this film was its refreshing lack of Roberts and Zeta Jones.

Watched 12 the other night and couldn't believe how bad these two were in it. The whole 'pretend you're Julia Roberts bit' was a fucking disaster and the dialogue with Bruce Willis was abysmal.

Zeta Jones is a good TV actress but just can't hack it on the big screen. She always seems like someone who's appearing as 'themself', in a Stan Lee type way.

Word. Zeta Jones is fucking BRUTALLY shit in that movie. It is also shit save a few nice directing touches from Soderbergh.

Gonna go see this one though.

Just back from seeing this. Thought pacino was very very restrained, he never really went off on a hoo-ha and at times when you expected him to lose the rag, he was sort of... Bemused. Overall i found the film passable. It sort of ambled along with no overly funny or impressive bits. The kind of film you sort of smile at every so often. Disappointing.

i whispered a hoo-aa to the boy every time al was having a moment..i dont think he appreciated it..there was no one sitting anywhere near though so at least i was only wrecking his head:)

I didn't even hear that, but my only funny bit was when Clooney goes "are you ready?" and the guy goes "I was born ready!" and Clooney just rolls his eyes. Because just then, I rolled my eyes and was glad to see I wasn't the only one.

the only funny bit was when Casey Affleck and Scott Caan are chucking the hotel reviewer guy out of his room because he stinks and doesn't realise it.

"You've gone nose-deaf, sir!".
Some of Casey Affleck's stuff in mexico was pretty amusing too. I think they put in the two lads for comic relief and then thought "right, we'll just leave the funny bits to them". The asian stunt dude was criminally underused too, about as much as Matt Damon was overused.

hear hear.

more asian stunt dude next time. seersly. he wasn'ty in it nearly enough - i mean that bit in the lift shaft? fuckin awesome!!!1

They do have some of the best lines though...

'I'll give you a million dollars to not speak for a month. One million dollars.'

im just re-watching the first one and did anyone notice that in 13 don cheadle's accent seemed to flicker between american and the rubbish cock-er-nee one he has in the earlier films?thanks christ though cos it drives me up the wall..

Also, when Affleck is trying to hack into the computer.

"Are you in yet?"

"I hate those words"
