Negative Scanner (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks,
Im on the lookout for a negative scanner (Medium Format + 35mm). There seems to be a great variation on price.
I usually get my negs done at Gunns, any idea how much a scanner that gives similar quality jpegs would cost?

if you want a neg scanner that can take 120, you're looking at a flatbed which will cost a couple of hundred euro and give fairly mediocre results. there's no real middle ground between that and the semi-pro stuff which will cost at least €3k.

3K? Jaysus! The prices really rockets, looks like it'll be a flatbed scanner then, cheers.
