I wasn't being entirely serious, although Evil Priest are great. I saw some incredible Kiwi bands when I was living there.

Misadventures In Self Surgery, Ulcerate, Fever Lake, Kill Me Quickly, Forced To Submit.

It's a shame that "I Broke My Back On The Pony Ride" on the Fever Lake page is unavailable, because that was a TUNE.

The guys from Evil Priest went on to form The Wrongmen, who were also great, but that was after I'd already left.

I was living in Mt Eden in Auckland while I was there. These bands are a snip of those that are actively playing the city at the moment.

I've been around a long time but have only been living in Waterford for 4 years or so. Before that I was in Dublion, Carlow3, Sligo and Longford.

I just wanted people to have a listen to some good music from an active scene. I have no internet as I just got back but you will be seeing a lot more of me once I have my line set up.

Cool. This might be better posted on the main board though, this forum is more for the punk/hardcore scene, which a lot of that isn't to do with.

That's an awful representation of the Auckland music scene. Most of that is horrible dub or reggae.
