Anyway my insurance for stolen camera went through and I have just given a whopping amount of money to a specialised, family owned, local vendor. And it feels good. Screw you, generic multinationals!

Well I've already got it.

It's pretty much a straight up replacement of what I had, though I also got a better bag, bigger card (8gb!!) and a UV filter. Also I get that cashback thing, which should hopefully come in handy.

my one criticism of gunns is that they don't stock sigma lenses.
this was not a problem until i wanted to buy a sigma lens.
