Distro:
- Daragh is going to be talking to RMG/Grapevine (distribution within Ireland) soon, and will talk up the 'Things' concept a bit, sound them out, see if they'll accept records/(Anthony's) posters/press packs etc. for all the bands involved (i.e. the bands on Anthony's ad).
- agreement that it'd be a good idea to look into getting little 'Things' stickers (with just the logo and the website address) made up and maybe stick em on all the records involved to build a bit of brand awareness
Thingsfolk:
- we're gonna stop using this and instead use the appropriate thumped boards (which I've asked Pete to make public), EXCEPT for polling people (see below)
Rules for inclusion on Things list (subject to review if they're not working):
- if a band/minor-league promoter asks to go on the list, they go on
- if it's a grey area, we have a poll on the thingsfolk list ... if two or more people want an event/band/whatever on, it goes on
- anyone who wants can propose a band/event/whatever, and we can vote on it if necessary
Resource website:
- Joss is getting a domain name, and has hosting sorted
- Cormac (with Joss's on-the-spot assistance) will look into getting a database and the like running on the server to make it easier to maintain
Flyers/stickers:
- anyone with access to affordable printing (Joss, Fiachra and hopefully Anthony even though he was absent) is gonna look into prices for getting a pile of Things stickers (for putting on records (with just the logo and web address)) and flyers (for putting into record bags)
