I recently got a recordable minidisc and was wondering if anybody could suggest a decent quality, affordably mic. I will mostly be using it for live music, mostly.

Ta very much.

Sony have a range of compatible mikes made for their minidisc recorders... I have a rather good one, It's stereo (as most of them are) and it nocked me back bout a hunnered quid on old money... Petes have the whole range behind the counter...

keeror showed me a sony one he'd bought a while back for doing ambient recording at gigs and i swear the sound quality is superb. it was about a hundred nicker as well.

i'll mail him, here wait a second.

Yeah, they are really worth it for gigs, I've got loads of gigs recorded this way... (cant listen to them anymore though, bolix)

Cheers, I'll be down to Peats when I get some cash.

Herv do you know who organises the Thursday night gigs in downstairs in the Parnell Mooneys? I'm trying to sort out anyother gig for there if you're interested. Hopper is up for it.
