Mince pies and mulled wine (2 Viewers)

They just don't go, do they? They get served together cause they're both Christmassy, but it's spicy-sweety overload. And I eat/ drink them anyway, and then feel ill.

Mince pies + coffee = yes please
Mulled wine + savoury snackage = mmm yes

Bewleys used to do top mince pies, and there coffee is pretty good too, twas a good combo. dunno if it still happens since cafe bar whatsits took over, plus aren't they getting rid of the Bewleys coffee blend too??

It's grand, but this particular wine was too cinnamonnny.

Mince pies are only good if they're free. I ain't buying that shit.

im gone off mince pies after the shit ones i had today. i quite like mulled wine though i'd never bother to make it. i tastes best if you have it walking around at a snowy or frosty french christmas market with roast chestnuts, cheese and foie gras

I had some mulled wine and roasted nuts in Cracow square a few days ago- was great!perfect way to warm up.
