Marmac Amp (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know anything about Marmac Amps? I've got an old valve one (I may actually have two) rusting away in the shed in my folks' gaff and was wondering if it was worth digging out and getting repaired. I know nothing about it other than it was originally brought from Joe O'Neill in Glenamaddy at a time when his phone number was 22 and it looks cool as shit.

Oh great, I've never heard of Marmac amps but now I want one. According to this ebay listing they're made in Ireland. I'd be interested in one if you'd like to part with it. Nothing like an Irish lad playing through an Irish amp. We'd get all the tourists in.

As you can see from this they were made in Sligo. I wonder what would happen if you called that number?

a mate has an old marmac PA head that i used to play through. i'd say he still has it. pretty sure it was solid state.

I was just checking it out to see if it worked but it's got a good range in tone and sounds a lot better than I was expecting. Hella loud too, I couldn't turn it passed 2.
