that would be some deal if they got him for £5m...he's a brilliant player. It seems that the Premiership is fast becoming one of the most attractive league for europe's top players.

01/13/2003. Manchester United are said to be stepping up their interest in German international striker Miroslav Klose.

Klose could be available at a cut-price fee as his club Kaiserslautern are in serious financial difficulties.

The striker's reputation was enhanced following his goalscoring exploits in the World Cup, which included a four-goal haul against Saudi Arabia.

Sir Alex Ferguson is known to be keen on signing a striker due to the lack of strength that he has in that department. The Daily Mail reports Klose may be sold for as little as £5m.

he was the 2nd highest rated striker at the world cup, played in the world cup final with an 'average' german team but still managed to deliver the goods throughout the tournament. He's a very good player in my opinion...and United are not the biggest team in the world (even though some woudl like to think so).
Real Madrid are without a doubt the most succesful and biggest team in the world.

United WOULD be the biggest and most successfull team in the world were it not for the Nevilles though...

Seriously... Manchester United are the biggest side in the world. In terms of how much they're worth and the number of fans, they're actually the biggest club in all sports in the world. Their main competitor in sports entertainment is the New York Yankees. It's because of all those Asian trips...

I'm not saying Klose is a bad player.. he's definitely one of the best in the world. It's just that I think he's very similar to Van Nistelrooy. They mightn't gel well together....
