Rather than an akward Seinfeld moment I just grab another few from the cabinet, but someday...

Lucky you even having a cabinet with pens in it. We only have one pen in the entire building it seems. The last consignment of pens we got in our place were the ones I stole from another company while I was working there in November 2005.

Well, mechanical pencils usually.

Sometimes, a good old fashioned normal wooden one.

I have some 0.5mm 3B and 4B leads that I use the odd time.

Very hard to get.

Pencils rock.

My Process for a BIC

1. The long part of the cover that holds the pen to your shirt pocket. Snap it off and chew. Nice plastic, strong yet ductile, can be flattened into a nice flat shape.
2. The end cover. Uggh. Shitty soft plastic that turns to fluff .
3. The top of the cover. Back to nice plastic. Makes a nice ball that can be flattened into a disk.
4. Things are getting desperate. Eat the refill down to the ink. Shitty soft plastic again.
5. Attack what remains of the cover. Knaw in a line and separate the spine from the cylinder. Lovely
6. Chew the cylinder after knawing it in two. Unsatisfying
7. Really desperate now. Crunch off bits of the pen and eat those. Horrible brittle plastic that tastes bad. This must be done neatly, around the circumference millimetre by millimetre - no jagged ends - we're not savages.
8. Get new pen because this one is fucked.
9. Go to step 1

I used to love slightly melting bic pens with a Bunsen burner and moulding them into new shapes. Now use a Cross pen that my wife got me for my 21st.
