Live Music at the Lower Deck, Portobello this week!!
Friday Jan 19th:
Punk For It Presents:
Punk For It gig of the new year, back in the place where it all started with melodic hardcorers “20 Bulls Each” back after a time away, “Skeptik Tank” Bayside hooligans with hard-punk songs mixed with skanking breakdowns, “Baby Dave” pop punk and shanghais at its finest, “The Skanks” weird techno rock and “Speshal Ed” popped up punk. First gig of a new monthly night featuring the finest in punked up young glue bagged goonies.
Doors 8pm – Five euro admission

This is a gig not to be missed with a variety of bands to cater for everyone. “Herv” plays with his part human part robot schizoid mix of up-tempo electronic robot induced madness, his latest masterpiece “customer” which is a world wind journey into optimus primes mind has recently been released in China. Funked up mother funkers “Andy Travers and the worthwhile experience” return for another once of show of bopping and ass shaking tunes that will spill your pint and steal your wife. If you haven’t been picking it up since your friend rolled a bogey “Swing youth” will help you along with there ska / reggae tunes to keep your clip on dreads in tact. Evil Kniveal come ready to rock with a blend of old school rock out ness featuring members of dark nursery rhyme properitories Estel and horror rock merchants Mo7’s.
