Tim Exile has had to cancel his slot at the WARP Records night at DEAF due to scheduling problems on his tour, but we're delighted to announce that we've replaced him with the dancefloor destroying bass machine Rustie! Long term associate of fellow Glaswegian Hudson Mohawke, Rustie has just signed with WARP records, with his first release on the label due early next year. Rusite has already sent shockwaves through the Electronic Music scene, with everyone from Modeselektor, Flying Lotus, Anthony Shake Shakir to Alex Smoke going absolutely crazy for his his 'Jagz The Smack' EP. He's remixed Zomby & Jamie Lidell amogngst many others, and collaborated with Joker & Hudson Mohawke. Dub Step, Aquacrunk, Glitch-hop, Grime, Wonky... all terms best saved for lesser artists, suffice to say that Rustie has been creating some of the most mind boggling, genre straddling, electronic music of recent years, and the best is yet to come..

PLAID (Live Classics Set)
We're super excited to announce a very special live performance by Plaid, consisting of classics tracks specially selected by the band from their entire back catalogue of 11 albums and 6 eps released over the 20 years they've been of making music together! Ed and Andy are preparing this set especially for the DEAF festival, and are trawling through old keyboards, hard drives and floppy discs, creating a set which will include tracks they haven't played live in over ten years!
CLARK (Live)
With the release of the finest electronic music album of the year, "Totems Flare", Chris Clark has has made a record that was built to rock the dance floors of the world, and his current live sets have been doing just that. The new record (his fifth to date) combines the classic Warp sound with a groove worthy of Paris's Ed Banger records or New York's DFA. Clark is going to rinse it at this party!
Bibio (Laptop / DJ)
One of Warp's freshest signings, with electronically modified guitar melodies and droning synthesizer sounds, Bibio's music pays tribute to England's fine folk tradition and San Francisco's late sixties psychedelia. a new EP "Maybe They Appear in Graveyards" follows his excellentWarp Debut, album "Ambivalence Avenue"
