LAZYBIRD
Sunday, 9pm 'til closing
International Bar (upstairs), Wicklow Street, Dublin 2

This week, we welcome back electronica duo Solen. They first played
Lazybird back in January, and made such a great impression on us that
we've been bugging them ever since to make a return appearance. Here's a
bit about them:
SOLEN are Donal Keating and John Flynn. They play electronic music that
combines thick rhythmic beats with melodic elements. Their live shows are
conducted on the fly with no presequenced song structures. Solen have
been performing under that name since 2005. Before this they were a guitar
and bass outfit called Regular Gonzales.
Also playing on the night will be Lazybird newcomer Philip Naessens. We
don't know a lot about him, but Solen recommended him, and that's good
enough for us.
So if you're in the mood for a double dose of electronica this Sunday,
come on down. As always, doors at 9ish, and only a fiver in. Hope to see
you there.
Blip,

And if you find yourself near a computer this Sunday evening at 6pm, jack
yourself into http://www.powerfm.org to listen to Radio-Inactivity:
Lazybird Radio. Neilio Iglesias will be bringing you 90 minutes of the
best music you may or may not have ever heard before. Tune in, turn up,
drone on.
