Last episode of Curb your Enthusiasm , last five minutes. Resteraunt full of people shouting obscenities for no good reason. I dont giggle easily, but during htat show I have expected Roman Polanski to bound greedily into the room, thinking he'd heard a schoolgirl

Larry had bought into a restaurant and had inadvertently hired a chef that suffered with Tourettes Syndrome. When he started screaming on opening night, Larry and all of his guests joined in as if it were a theme to the restaurant. It ends with Larry smiling amongst the chaos of people screaming obscenities all around him.

Funny shit alright. He fired the last chef for "misrepresenting" his baldness. He claimed to hate toupe wearers ("hitler should have gassed them") then larry met him wearing one.

best episode was the one where he makes friends with the gangsta rap boyfriend of Cheryl's best mate resulting from a conversation at a party on the different flavours of women, realises the guy is cheating on his lady, tells Cheryl who tells the friend yadda yadda. the subplot involving a wardrobe jacket for a film shoot is too too.

only get to see him thanks to TG4, but the latest funkenhauser stuff is pure gold.

when he's doing the Scorsese film he looks absolutely hilarious, like he's havin great craic cos he can be the biggest cunt in the world and get paid for it
I know he wrote for Seinfeld or someething to but I never really got into his stuff for that , Seinfelds quiff thing that he has goin on just fills me with irrational rage

I think this might just be my favourite show ever.

that's the one! i mistakenly told my aged p's who loved Seinfeld to tune in, and they did...on the night TG4 showed this episode. now they don't come round to ours much any more.

Seinfeld was a terriffic series. George Kastanza is my favourite character. It's just diluted Larry sorta smoothed out for prime time. one of those television shows you grow to appreciate and then take to the characters like they were your own pals. black books is another which does the same thing.

well i never really made the effort with seinfeld , although it had its moments. The fringe characters always pissed me off, too Friendsy and incidental.
And ive always thought that comedy, like TCP , is more effective undiluted

pointless fact that everyone who loves seinfeld knows: he's done alot of uncredited voices work in seinfeld. if a voice is heard in seinfeld and the characther isn't on screen then all probability is that it was larry david

anyway curb your eenthusiasm is pure class. the funniest show on irish tv thats shown at a regular slot every week (it would be joint funniest if tv3 had a regular slot fr arrested developement)

yeah but I dont love Seinfeld and i imagine theres people out there who feel the same so its not pointless to me . I only found that out recently and Ive been watching curb your enthusiasm for a good while now. Although the connection should really have clicked earlier I suppose

Must say, Seinfeild never did it for me and have lost rep on ocassion for saying it's shite...
But in anyways I think Curb your Enthousisam is pure genius...
as a result of this I watched recently the first three seasons of Seinfeld on DVD and loved all the Curb your Enthousiasiizims of the show...

The scene in that episode when the kid runs by and Larry says to (I think) Richard Lewis, "That's him! That's the porn-baby!" made me laugh so hard and so long that I had to stop the DVD. Absolute classic.
