any use?
ive always had trouble programming beats and drums and stuff so im hoping this will make it a bit easier. its essentially a midi controller version of an akai MPC machine.
anyone have any info or experience using one?
i have a kaoss pad2 but since i cant find the adaptor its not getting much use. thinking of flogging it for thisreplacing it:

yeah, i saw that but if ijm to get rid of my kaoss pad, id like another z-y controler.
also, i have extra knobs/faders on my radium keyboard.
MPC is tempting but i likes the way the korg lights up too!!
plus, from what ive read akai are known for slow software/firware updates.

id be more inclined to go with the korg.

yeah, the korg is pure drum interface while the akai is more controller-orientated.
akai support is complete shite so much so that a 3rd party O/s is seen as a must for the mpc1000....
