Come away, oh human child, to the waters and the wild -KnockanStockan Independent Music Festival awaits! and there’ll be a pinch of pixie dust in the air as the festival grounds, on the shores of the beautiful Blessington Lake, take on a magical forest playground feel. Festival lovers can expect three days of music, festivities, art and fun on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th July with camping all for just €75.

[FONT=&quot]The Knockanstockan launch party will take place in the Grand Social on Tuesday evening, the 24th May. You will definitely hear us before you see us, with The Busk Mob (s[/FONT][FONT=&quot]ingers, musicians, performers, dancers, jugglers, magicians, and buzzers in bright colours[/FONT][FONT=&quot]) gathering in Dame Lane at 4pm, parading a pathway throughout Temple Bar’s narrow streets, then over to the Ha'Penny bridge all the way into the launch for 6 o' clock at The Grand Social.

[FONT=&quot]The full festival line-up will be announced at 6:30pm. There will be some tasty samples from the KnockanStockan bill performing at the event, including The Hot Sprockets, Sounds Of Systems Breakdown, The Cujo Family, Ross Breen to name a few. There’ll be a KS cinema showing band videos and KnockanDockan- The KnockanStockan documentary. We also have a medley of creative additions to serve you a sample of the delicious trimmings that will be at the festival this year. The Ha'Penny Flea Market is onboard with some of the stall holders selling their wears; Pixie Trix will be there face-painting and their usual divilment. There will also be art workshops, poetry and lots more besides.

[FONT=&quot]This year KnockanStockan Independent Music Festival will continue to champion the best of new Irish music. There will be three stages featuring a quality selection of great music and a new chill out area programmed by the good people of Sibin Music and the NPLD crew. The KnockanStockan Art Trail, will wind its way through the festival with plenty of artistic curiosities and installations to delight the eyes. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]The Ha-Penny Flea Market will be selling all sorts including jewelry, vintage clothing, crafts and The Secret Book & Record Store will have their usual fine selection of books, cds &vinyls. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]This year an expanded Vendor Village will provide some of the finest Irish food as well as tantalizing tastes from around the world.
