KETTLE @ RI RA & THE GLOBE ///
Dubstep & Breaks
Thurs 15th Nov / T-Woc (Alphabetset), Colz & Breakology Crew!!
This weeks Kettle is a Dubstep and Breaks special with some of Ireland's best in both genres joining us for what promises to be a seriously bass-heavy affair. One half of Alphabet Set and Rootical Sound System selector T-Woc plays the Globe joined by self-titled "DJ, Producer & Arthritic B-Boy" Colz. These guys have been around for a while and between them have released records, put on gigs and played in just about every venue you can think of. Check the myspace links below to download some killer recent mixes by both.
The Breakology crew will be taking over downstairs for the evening bringing their energetic breakbeat sound that has won them a huge following in Dublin. The guys were heavily involved with this years Life Festival an have put on artists such as DJ Craze and Dreadzone. Expect a sweaty dancefloor!
As always door tax is just e5 before 12, and the Kettle (free!) pre-club takes place in the Globe from 9 with residents playing funk, soul, reggae, hip-hop and
electro to get the party started.
