!Kaboogie's !K Club is back in its new home, Le Cirk on Dame Street.
The !K Club has been running since 2008 and is a showcase for talented and original local DJs, producers, and MCs. The club runs every 2nd Thursday and is always free in.
And as a special treat for our first night in a new venue, we are delighted to host a set from the fantastic MURDERBOT. The night also features a live set from T-WOC who is launching his new 7" release on All City Records.
Support comes from !Kaboogie Residents A-Force, Eomac, Pcp, Redmonk, Richie !K, and Sixfoot Apprentice, a variety of whom will feature at every !K Club.
MURDERBOT
Chrissy Murderbot is a DJ, producer, and record label head honcho living in Chicago, working across the juke-dub-ghetto-bass-house-disco-rave-step spectrum.
Since getting started as a DJ in 1995, he has played at over 400 events in more than 15 countries, alongside legends like Juan Atkins, 4Hero, Plaid, The Bug, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Ghislain Poirier, Aux88, Mark 1, Mungo's Hi-Fi, DJ SS, Legowelt, Remarc, Bizzy B, Kid606, Pinch, and more.
2009 saw Chrissy release a 2LP and 5 EPs, in addition to remixes for Hostage (Nightshifters), Pirate Soundsystem (WIDE Records), Mestizo (Seclusiasis), Bobby Braun (Sleazetone), Ssion (Sleazetone), Larytta (Creaked) and others. Forthcoming projects for 2010 include 2 EPs of bootleg re-edits, another new album, and remixes for Hakan Lidbo (Tigerbeat6), To Live And Shave In LA (Monotype), and Noise Floor Crew (Brooklyn Fire).
In addition to DJing, production, and running Sleazetone Records, Chrissy runs a mixtape-a-week music blog, My Year of Mixtapes, which receives over 10,000 hits per week.

T-WOC
Alphabet Set co-founder T-woc is a Dublin based producer and DJ who is joining us for a live set and to launch his new 'Father' 7" on All City Records.
Along with his work with the Alphabet Set, T-woc also has a weekly radio show on Raidio Na Life 106.4FM, is a regular selector with the Rootical Soundsystem, co-runs the Wobble club nights, plays regularly at B-music nights, runs a mix series blog (link below), makes beats, plays 'em, and has Remarc and Bizzy B over for tea on occasion.
