i just got into him couple months ago, so maybe its a fad(up to 15 dvd's now) john fords stuff is the best!! but i gotta love the fact that its raw in a way,just telling a story!! no CG images, kinda refreshing in someways, or maybe there just goood stoner films,

He made some great movies. He also made a lot of shit (Green berets anyone?). That said, some of the iconic moments in cinema belong to this man. The end of The Searchers, holding that turned-injun Natalie Wood. The swinging-cock (go Johnner!) as he takes on Bob Duvall and the boys in True Grit.
