It's rather windy tonight.... (1 Viewer)

on sunday night here i thought the roof was gonna be blown off.
i could feel the top of the house shaking (cheapy attic conversion / flat job).

not as bad tonight though.

Getting to and from work this week has been like an hour long torture session. I've been woken up at all hours by neighbours alarms for the past few nights.

This morning I feel like driving a scissors through the temple of every cunt in this knob invested kip.

At least the match last night was good.

At one stage the cats looked a bit agitated but then they fell asleep

thank god

My fucking gutter blew off the front a me house.Just seen it now.Balls.

If I had hung out the washing there's a good chance it could have been blown off.

I didn't though.

thank god

It's hailing to fuck down here in Ringsend.

No damage here except that the drains got backed up and we had some water coming up through the floorboards. Think it's because we have concrete underflooring built on a slobland. The sand would have been pretty dry until a few days ago and couldn't absorb all the rain quickly enough. Receded pretty quickly, no problems.

I was on South William St yesterday afternoon and there was a mad gust of wind that nearly blew a barrier outside Dakota right into my face, though. That was fucking nuts.

Going back and forth over the Eastlink Bridge has been pretty scary lately. Have to go into town later, but I think I'll take the long way. There have been a couple of times when I've been lifted off my feet a little by the wind -- twice last week! This is worse than usual.

Oh yeah, me recycling bin blew over, twice.
And the lid came off something else.
Better "baton down the hatches" people.

PS, how do storms always know when its nighttime?

You'll all be glad to know that the East Village in NYC is grand.
It rained on Friday though. And my bike didn't like that.

I got blown off my feet once on a mountain in Wales.
The wind was being funneled through something.
I did it a few times. You were never sure where you were going to land. You would aim for the big round rocks, or the grass, and try and run as fast as you could when you touched down.

Gas altogether.
