My Notifications tab has been partially covering my "welcome Jim Daniels" tab - top left hand corner of screen for a few weeks. They are both sitting partially outside the dark blue/navy area. And, if I cover the notifications tab with my cursor, I get a little tag/ message saying "The Facebook Platform".

It's no big deal, just mildly distracting. Is there some software update I haven't downloaded or something?

Ah, maybe its the display..

Just checked, its 1280 x 800 pixels. Is that the default? I'm on a laptop. I should learn how to use my computer properly.

Fair play Pete. I just switched it to Firefox and it looks lovely again... everything in its right place.
