[Scientician 0.8]

This is the strangest, (possibly tackiest) and most compelling website I've ever looked at. It's an obituary of everyone purported to have died who had a myspace profile. Suicides, gunshots, diseases, drownings. Some kids even post their suicide notes on their myspace. Some of the myspaces have become memorials for the people. Strange, so very strange.

Two college students were found dead inside a large, deflated helium balloon after apparently pulling it down and crawling inside it, officials said.

The deaths of Jason Ackerman and Sara Rydman, both 21, appear to be accidental, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Maj. Bob Schrader said.

Their bodies were found Saturday partially inside a deflated helium balloon at the entrance of a condominium complex a few miles north of Tampa. The 8-foot-diameter balloon was used to advertise the complex.

"It was more a fun thing they thought they were doing," said Linda Rydman, whose daughter was found dead. "You know how you blow up the balloon and suck the helium."

The county medical examiner said Sunday that the cause of death won't be released for six weeks, until toxicology results come back.

Inhaling helium can quickly lead to brain damage and death from lack of oxygen, according to the Compressed Gas Association, which develops safety standards in the gas industry.

yeah, the amount of road related deaths is scary. most of them are so young too. the more i think of it, the more that site totally bums me out

i had to look didn't i?god its a depressing site really, not that i wasn't forewarned by the previous comments.its hard to take young peoples deaths on board really. it reminds me of a time when i was four or five and my cousin got the michael jackson thriller video and we watched in my auntys house. my dad told me i wasn't allowed watch it but of course me being me peaked through the door and it scared the shite out of me. moral of the story is i'll never learn.
