Homegrown reggae and dub. (1 Viewer)

I'm from Belfast and I make dub and reggae under the name Operator Habit, par exemple:

My dub remix of Barrington Levy - Look Youthman

My deep, dark dub remix of Faithless - Insomnia

And my dub/deep reggae remix of Symarip - Skinhead Moonstomp

I've a few other tunes up there on my Soundcloud, some of differing styles, however all of which you can download for free.

Any feedback would be much appreciated, and if you have Soundcloud yourself be sure to gis' a follow, I'll return the favour.

If anyone else makes dub/reggae/dancehall/ska/ragga/whatever themselves, I'd love to have a listen.

Listened to the first track.Classic track to remix and its good but the bass needs to be way harder.

Cheers. Yeah to be fair I do agree, it's too trebly. I made that tune 'on the move', so to speak, with headphones that probably didn't fully represent the mix. When I get home this weekend I'll probably tweak the bass and re-upload it. Thanks again for checking it out though.

Just did a reggae remix of Skrillex & Damian Marley - Make It Bun Dem for shits and giggles. I love Damian Marley's vocals in Make It Bun Dem but always thought it was ruined by Skrillex's random 'dubstep' screechings in the background, so decided to stamp my own reggae interpretation on it for the craic. Have a listen, let me know if it's marginally more tolerable than the original.

Do you do any tracks from scratch? I'd love to sing on a reggae/dub/ska track sometime. It'd be great crack.

Yeah I do make tracks from scratch, most of the stuff I do is . I can make a riddim and send it to you and you can sing over it if you'd like. Never tried it before but there's a first for everything!

Recently I've been experimenting a little with breakbeat, garage, deep house etc. I released two new tracks, one an original called 'To The Very Last Drop' which is very breakbeat and deep-Chicago sounding, the other a remix of Tomcraft's 'Loneliness' which strips it down to a 2-step, sax-laden skank.
