i'm looking for any good gigs, or clubnights a la lazybird porcodio that are playing something suitably loud to drown out any chance of conversation between the 28th and 1st of may
am forced by the cruel and constraining chains of family obligations to entertain the two most mind-numbingly boring people ever. These people suck the fun out of everything and don't get jokes, sarcasm, irony or anything that inserts a bit of life into a conversation. The last time I met up with them I ended up sitting in a tensely polite atmosphere for 4 painful hours
the atmosphere came about after the topic of planned/unplanned pregnancies came up. I, thinking they'd see the funny side, told them I was the pill baby and nine years later my brother the condom baby arrived so my parents decided divorce would be the best form of birth control..
follow shock, polite terse smiles + 3 interminably long hours of good wholesome wasp conversation.
