Thanks lads...Rebellion with a photo pass was obviously easier to do this year then last and it was great to see these bands so close up, I became an Exploited fan all over again, I do love that Adicts one quite a lot and the Excuses one though.

Janer, do you spend a lot of time tweaking the colours in photoshop? They all look like there's a lot of careful work put into them. What's the secret?

I use Lightroom2 instead of Canon's own DPP these days.
I finally got my head round it (mostly)
There are many presets in Lightroom that you download of the 'net but even if I use them I then add my own tweaks, I like a certain style which some would consider garish and OTT but that's where I'm at now.

I like the painting look I can get at times for certain shots




I like the way it looks more 3 dimensional too, it's hard to go back to normal PP when you get used to it.

See his arm there and his hair line? That's the kind of thing I was giving out about before. Similar effect works perfectly in the photo of Andy though.

Ya that's the down side to 'Another World' preset, yet I'm drawn to it a lot and still use it for a percentage of pictures, I mean I am moving away from the bleeding obvious wrong choices of the use of it on some pictures! This was when I 1st used it and didn't know how to disguise it as much.



I'm still working out which pictures I can get away with it on, it's normally darker under exposed pictures from what I can tell so far.

I must get Lightroom myself and have a play around with these presets.
