I use the lowest aperture on the camera with a fairly fast shutter speed. I think they were taken with a shutter speed of 40 and an aperture of 4.5. You need a manual setting on the camera to do this and an slr woould be better imo.

In layman's terms experiment with different settings til you get the desired result.
