ah, buttevant.. home of the donkey sanctuary (more cheap laughs than you can shake a stick at), the greatest sculpture in history (a rabbit-on-a-fox-on-a-badger) and the horse fair (the smell of horse urine and red faced travellers as far as the eye can see). not to mention the local "bin there, don't do that" anti litter roadsign campaign. buttevant rocks!

Some washing powder or other had an ad of late which made reference to both a donkey sanctuary and Shrek. Something about "winning" a donkey, even though you didn't actually get to keep said donkey. Which kind of goes against my notions of winning something, like if the lotto people decided to start saying to people who won the thing "Yeah, you won, but we're not going to give you any money. Ha ha ha ha ha". With the "ha ha ha ha" in the style of Vincent Price.
