Forget about that shite. These are my favourite burgers and burger accompaniments.
First and foremost. Tommy's double chili cheese burger. Underneath all that chili is also, tomato, onion and pickle.
Goes great with their chili cheese fries:
Or chili cheese tamale(pictured with another fine example of a Tommy's Double Chili and Cheese Burger and can of Hawaiian Punch):
Next, The Hat in Pasadena. Their burgers are amazing, but the specialty is the Pastrami Burger. Beef burger with pastrami and all the fixin's. Look:
Again, it goes great with their Chili Cheese fries. Biggest you'll ever find, although, this is only a small portion.
Their pastrami dip is very nice too. Come with Au Jus.
Next, In'n'Out Burgers. Chain throughout CA, NV and AZ. No freezers, no microwaves. Fresh food. They also pay their employees well above min wage, have health care plans, and subsidise 3rd level education for the staff.
This is their flagship, the Double-Double. Two all beef patties, two slices of freash, real cheddar:
They also do a protein version for the health conscious, no buns:
Or for the not so heath conscious, a 20x20:
or what looks like a 40x40 or more:
Love them, but my only problem is they don't do chili.
Bob's Big Boy. Simple honest burger. My Gandpa was their very first employee. Was asked to become a partner, but he didn't think it would ever take off.
My local in Toluca Lake, CA:
Jo's and Bobo's....meh.
