An Taobh Tuathail Vol II is due for release on Psychonavigation Records at the end of August. There will be four launch parties on the first four Fridays of the month in Dublin, Galway, Cork & Limerick.
The exuberant R.S.A.G (Rarely Seen Above Ground) from Kilkenny – a one man band soaking up influences as diverse as Joy Division & Talking Heads, with the visual impact of Gorillaz - will perform at all of the shows.
AN TAOBH TUATHAIL – the raido show
An Taobh Tuathail (The Other Side) has been broadcasting the cream of underground music from around the globe on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta/ANOCHT FM since May 1999. West Kerry native Cian Ó Cíobháin, who has been at the helm since its very first broadcast, presents the show Mondays to Fridays, 11pm-1am. An Taobh Tuathail Vol 2 will be released on Psychonavigation Records in mid-August and features fifteen beautiful compostions, including the music of Murcof, Susanna & The Magical Orchestra, Somadrone, Mice Parade & Colleen.
