Scorched Earth were pretty crusty if I remember right. Probably around the same era.

Killercrust started in autumn 1987- did our first demo in feb 88, the 'make mine crusty' tape in August 88 and the split 7" recording in Feb 89 - Scorched Earth were pretty much around the same time alright
