I'm fairly sure the crowd that published this knew of it a few days in advance when the testing was still going on but held it back until the release so they could make the news.

is anyone else having problems with this new one. its taking ages to load my home page. some pages are lightning but others are like wading through treacle.

i'm noticing some strange things myself. some pages fast, some slow everything down. i had to shut it down a while ago because it was growing out of control and my whole xp system was crawling. i think the memory leaks might be back despite reports to the contrary.

I've had this problem with FF2. Have had to revert to the 'older version' of gmail for it to work.

I don't know exactly what was wrong but I wasn't exactly arsed spending ages working it out so I just installed Firefox 2 again - its working fine quick as fuck.

hmm. i had an accuweather addon which i uninstalled on ff3 and everything seems to be grand now...

only just downloaded this now...ironically used opera to download it because it was taking too long to load on firefox.
