FEE activist 'manhandled' by minister at NUI Galway protest (1 Viewer)

Aye, as weird as it may seem, them SWP and Sociaist Party students here in Belfast are actually the only ones that do something proper. Besides the meetings every two weeks on campus they area always up to something.
On the other hand the majority of student wank will only do something bland when it's "Human Rights Day" or bullshit like that but won't do anything proper that is not organized by the shit SU.

Here at Queens there was supposed to be a big protest against fees but them SU wankers called their protest off just because they got a seat on the committee discussing the raise of fees.
Obviously them SWP and Socialist Party folks are not exactly upper-class pseud-militant student wank and were not happy and got quite pissed off once the president of the SU tried to get them to stop the protest with the same weapon of offering a seat on the committe, obviously they didn't stop and it was up to a few SWP and Socialist Party guys plus a couple of anarchist to protest. All in all 15 people with all them student wank walking by and mostly laughing at us.
AnarchoBob is convinced that sleeping is more important than uni morning lectures

Yes, I know :(

But to be fair that only covers them shit social anthropology lectures on globalization. Most pointless and boring thing I have ever studied.

Aye, I sometimes feel like a waster when people go on about their degrees in chemical engeneering or medicine and I do a in history and philosophy.
But then again, most philosophers were wasters that hardly ever worked. So it's all good.

Social anthropology lectures on globalisation?
Sure there's nothing there of interest to anyone who's in to world politics!

Philosophy is the art of turning minor isues into convuluted problems
while taking stances on meta-realities that cannot exist outside of
textbooks.
Love of knowledge my hole.
Love of talking shite, more like.

It would be interesting if it wasn't a load of wank about pre-modern and post-modern phenomenons ing global networks and a whole load of stuff about disembetting and re-embedding of Japanese-Brazilian migrants in Japan and Tamil migrants in Singapore.

I was tricked under the impression that it would have been more about the politics of globalization :(

Surely understanding the cultures of other countries and gaining an insight into
how they handled immigration crises would be interesting?
I'd find it interesting at least!
Go along and email me your notes!

If there was actual mention of immigration policies and actual cultures it would be good. But them bastards made it all about the 'technical' stuff behind global networks and a load of terminology.

But the module on the IRA rocks .|..|
