We have thur 14th edinburgh, sat 16th elgin, sun 17th glasgow, so would ideally like a gig aberdeen or anywhere not too far from edinburgh & Elgin.
Excuses can be heard at myspace www.myspace.com/excusesireland

Who's putting on yer gig on the 17th Jasper? We've got Cold Ones wanting to play here (Glasgow) then, would like to avoid any clashes if possible. RE: the Friday in Aberdeen, I think there may be a gig going on there that you could jump on. I'll ask Roddy Gevitter about it and see what's happening.

hey Keirkegard, its someone called colin doing the glasgow gig, I think it maybe at that rockers venue - Im not sure of details - these gigs have been arranged by paul 13 our guitarist through myspace, which I hate so don't go there and thus am not up to date on the details

That Edinburgh gig on 17th is a House of Crust promotion gig at Henry's Cellar Bar. Bottomfeeders and one other localish band tbc also on the bill, that's all I know so far. Colin from Bottomfeeders/ House of Crust is dealing with this.
Did yez get the maps and info I sent you, guys?

The Elgin gig is a Syndicate promotion gig at the New Elgin Hall (aye- google it!!!)- other bands playing- Bin Laden's Daughter and one more tbc.

Glad you got that last date sorted, lads- I was still waiting for a couple of avenues to appear, but I was starting to sweat over it, as I didn't think I was getting anywhere.

So where's that Aberdeen gig at then? Who else is on?

Aye- That crowd definitely look like Elgin savages!
Wifebeater were fucking good- split up a wee while back in a storm of local controversy involving (gasp) Northsound Radio and Labour MP's crusade to have councils stop them from playing as they were too offensive.
They should have been playing the Elgin gig on the 14th, but with their drummers departure its not going to happen. Pity.
Still- they have a 3-way split album due for release alongside The Signal from Inverness and Bin Laden's Daughter from Moray. This 21-track album was started before Wifebeaters demise. It's called 'Northern Bastards- Pict Punk Split'.
There's also a bootleg live cd and a dvd kicking about!

Hah!
I googled it!
Yes it is!!

Aye it is indeed! We've had some line up shennanegins since then and pretty much had to go back to scratch with a new drummer coming in.
Poor Paul, our old drummer, was and still is pretty ill with something longterm, which has gotten progressively worse and has led him to pretty much hang up his sticks- which is a real shame as he was at the point where the band was all he had to look forward to.
Our new drummer, Ollie is gig ready now and we've played a couple of tasters to get moving again- a gig in a guys house a couple of weekends ago and an impromptu few songs in a pub in Inverness on Saturday where The Signal were playing and got us up for a thrash.
So we're really looking forward to the Excuses gig.

And you can fly direct Dublin to Inverness/ Aberdeen, on the cheap- Elgin isn't too far away fae either and despite it being the Shakespearean 'blasted heath' there are a few buses!

There are quite a few new vids on our youtube channel, BLD-TV:

Shite! That reminds me, Janer- Are you still needing those extra tracks and cover for Racan? I have them on this machine somewhere...
Been busy and have a shit memory, my fault entirely and I apologize. If yer still needing them, I'll send them ASAP.
