England vs Wales (1 Viewer)

I watched Iran v USA. the imperialists were better but the wasn't much of a Persian gulf - maybe Tom Araya will dedicate a song to them.
truly hope the Iranian team are safe when they get home.

if you're old enough to remember Italia '90 you might recall there was unrest in Romania at the time. The Romanian supporters were waving their national flag with a big hole in the middle. A large number of their supporters claimed political asylum in Italy, rather than return home.

Unlikely to happen in this case, given where the world cup is being held, but it did remind me of what happened back then.

Wales have a population of just over 3 million (probably smallest in tournament). Did a great job just qualifying.
And Wales have better team than Ireland.
I would have said Wales were obviously better than us up until recently, but on the evidence of this tournament (i.e. it seems their best 2 players Bale and Ramsey are well into their career twilight at this point) I'd put them about level with Ireland now. They did well to qualify but it's no Iceland 2018 (population 350,000 people).

JDB, what a great singer......and guitarist.

for some reason this band was often billed as coming from Swansea despite being from Cardiff.
even the band themselves didn't seem to know how the mistake originated.
