Hello!

I'm going to be DJing at the Electric City club in The Metropolitan (Eden Quay) tonight. I'm supporting a guy called Kiko who's label mates with The Hacker and has released loads of deadly stuff. Here's the info:

Electric City present:
Kiko [Hot Banana / Gigolo Records - France]
skkatter [Fairview Strand]
Thursday 20/1/2005 at The Metropolitan Bar, Eden Quay
Admission 10 Euro

Doors open at 11pm and I'll be playing from 11pm 'till 1am. Here's a chart of the kind of stuff I'll be playing:

1) Dexter - Raw! (Klakson)
2) John Selway - Zoids Vol. 2 (Serotonin)
3) Rob Euroh - The Magma Man Chronicles (Templedog)
4) Dynarec - User Input (Delsin)
5) Si Begg - Revolution (Novamute)
6) Freq Nasty - Punkadelic [Radioactive Man Remix] (Skint)
7) Alden Tyrell - Disco Lunar Module (Clone)
8) 313 Bass Mechanics - From Belle Isle To Seven Mile (Breakin')
9) Tim Wright - Oxygen (Novamute)
10) Model 500 - Outer Space (Metroplex)

Hey!...How did this go...What was Kiko like? Wanted to head down but couldn't in the end - was he any good?

Electric City is on in the Metropolitan every Thursday, it's been running for over a year now and has had loads of great acts over (both live and DJs) such as The Hacker, Transparent Sound, Dave Clarke, Andy Weatherall, Magda, Alter Ego etc. Lots of Irish DJs and live acts play there too, Decal, Americhord etc have all played there.

Last night was a lot of fun. I didn't like a lot of what Kiko was playing, he played lots of obvious "club classics 2004" type tracks, (Tiga - Pleasure From The Bass, Alter Ego - Rocker etc) but he played a few good things and everybody else there seemed to really like it, the dancefloor was full all night.
