Speedy J remix:

Edit-Select reach their 10th release, and to celebrate they have chosen possibly the biggest track from the previous 9 releases; Gary Beck's ‘Consumed’. This monster of a track (which featured on Richie Hawtin's 'Sounds from Can Elles' DJ Magazine mix), has been remixed by Mark Broom, and Dutch Techno legend Speedy J. Broom's Bang Bang mix is typical of his dark Techno sound which of course fits perfectly on Edit Select, and Speedy J cranks the intensity up a notch, with his repetitive groove that just sounds immense on a big system (when of course played on vinyl). The label's biggest release to date, and by far the most limited.

Obtane – (Sonic Groove) 9.99

Between the deep, hypnotic, percussive rhythms of London's legendary Pounding Grooves and the squishy, squelchy, bio-rhythmic beats of the ASRX crew, this 12” is sure to keep things interesting on the late-night dance floor. Lawrie Immersion's original version of ‘Ice’ is accompanied by 3 remixes by the ASRX crew: Kataconda, Wraith, and introducing ASRX's newest addition, Dijj.

Detroit Threads Recordings is a loose family of artists housed under Mikal Smith’s roof. The focus of the latest ep is the Detroit Techno Militia. The Militia was formed to keep Detroit’s edge sharp and its sound underground, displaying their brand of relentless technique that has built them a loyal following.

Werner / Hitchell - All The Engines (Antenna International) 9.99
All The Engines:

All The Engines (Sleazy Turbines mix)
http://previews.rubadub.co.uk/ant07/b1.mp3
Retrofit:
http://previews.rubadub.co.uk/ant07/b2.mp3
Limited to 300 hand numbered copies. Antenna International present ‘All The Engines’ from Chicago producers Josh Werner (former partner of DJ Sneak on Strictly Rhythm, Force Inc. & Relief Records) & Steve Hitchell (of Echospace) with their long running collaborative project. A modern look at the jak track aesthetic; the original mix melds boomin 808 and crispy hats with a slippery, funked up bassline while the flip tamps down the BPMs to a swingin' 116 and amps the analog machine funk in the ‘Sleazy Turbine mixx’. The release rounds out with the atmospheric soundscape of ‘Retrofit’ drenched in reverb and subterranean bottom.

Traxx / Werner / Hitchell - Fractal Rip (Antenna International) 9.99
Werner / Hitchell – Fractal Rip

Traxx – Introspective (Wener / Hitchell’s Preludes & Nocturnes version)
http://previews.rubadub.co.uk/ant08/b1.mp3
Limited to 300 hand numbered copies. Windy city producers Steven Hitchell and Josh Werner continuing to challenge and confound expectations as Antenna International drops "fractaLRip" a speaker-melting 303 drenched bomb from Chicago's southside, harking back to the earliest days of outlaw warehouse and loft parties, this track is already doing damage in the crates of Justin Long, Traxx and Adam Marshall. While on the b-side comes the ‘Preludes And Nocturnes’ mix of ‘Introspective’ from Traxx' Faith CD to light. This version has been put through the sonic cacophony that is Hitchell's EchoSpace studio; packed with myriad gadgetry of assorted compressors, delays and the infamous echo chamber to create an ominous, building, dark entity not for the faint of heart.
