Degenerate American comedian Doug Stanhope's show in the Button Factory on thursday october 1st has sold out, there are still some tickets available for his second show on friday october 2. Doug will be performing a set of brand new material at these shows!

Like we told you last time he played here, we consider Stanhope a true visionary, but the mans material is pretty far out, if you find jokes about abortion, hookers, drugs and two headed babys offensive, this show is not for you.

"There's a kind of olympic torch of extreme american comedy, that passed from Lenny Bruce, through Richard Pryor and Sam Kinison.. to the late Bill Hicks. Stanhope is the latest and equally brilliant bearer

None of Doug's new material is available online yet, so here's two classic stanhope clips

Man saw a poster for this yesterday and came on to check when it's on.. Can't do tomorrow and it's sold out today. Anyone got 2 tickets?

Tickets will be available on the door for tonight (friday)'s show

First time seeing Doug last night, and thought he was outstanding. Very funny guy, I'll definitely be going along next time he comes to Dublin. Highly recommended for anyone thinking about going tonight. Just get there early if you want to get a seat. He came on stage about 9.10pm.
