I have one request of anyone inquiring of the Radio program. Before you call me (or text me) asking about how the radio program works, please look up the attached pigboat website. Most of your general questions can be answered there.

First of all, Having been forced to work with 'Pay to play' ( Payola) situations in Chicago radio stations for the years, I cannot fathom, or have a budget to, supporting a payola scheme.

If you take the time to look up the website you'd see we are very detailed in not being a Payola situation. Payola is illegal and immoral. The practice only propagates more animosity amongst artists and widens the gap of trust between creativity and commerce.

It is unfair proclamation to accuse our work as being ‘payola’, beacause what you are indicating 'Payola' to be... it isn't. I should know, I had to deal with 'payola' for years, and it is unfair. I care very much about what I do and have spent a good portion of my free time in multiple cities around the world trying to get this right. So please, do not criticize until you educate yourself.


Secondly, no, there is no fixed price, each quote is subject to how many demographics you fit into and how many minutes/seconds your song is.

.16 x (minutes/seconds) = Y
Y x (number of CDs printed) = Z(cost to band)

The .16 sent rate is only valid for three months as an introduction at which time the price does up to .20. finally, .25 by the end of the year.

At the same time our research team is prepping to have the entire country's independent / college radio relationships sorted, we have 302 relationships presently, and plan on having a 900 to 1000 radius by winter 2005.

Yes, if you only want your song(s) to be played in certain areas, (example Los Angeles, Boulder Co., Chicago IL.) that can be gone as well.
