digital only record label (1 Viewer)

Has anyone out there any ideas, info, links regarding setting up a digital
online record label?

- Costs
- Server software/ configuration
- Legal aspects
- Ltd company setup

or anything else?

Laidback Electronica is a hybrid label, in the meaning that releases van either be web based or physical. At the moment, though, all releases are still web based. At a later date, the first physical releases (either cd, dvd or vinyl) will be released.

The music released can be categorized as Laidback Electronica, as the name already suggests. This is a very wide categorization, which includes but is not limited to ambient, laidback idm, downtempo and trip hop. Main target is that the music is nice and easy to listen to. "Easy Listening Electronica", so to speak.

Web releases will always exist of a few tracks as .mp3 or .ogg, accompanied by printable artwork. That way, even though it's a web release, if you like it, you could burn it to cd, print the artwork, and have it with you in a physical way as well. Web releases will always be available for free!
