Bah, there's a bunch of free/supercheap stuff out there.. most of what I use is free stuff like the awesome massey plugins and the dynamics/eq III stuff from digi. I also grabbed a vst wrapper for all the cool free vst's.

Got the macbook running Pro-tools on OSX and XP via bootcamp, so I might wrap a few of my old VSTs and use PT in XP for now. Or maybe record in OSX and mix in XP...dunno yet...twould be to find some documentation to prove that running PTs on an intel mac is better through OSX than XP...I'd imagine it would be.

its not free but its inexpensive and well worth the money considering the price of rtas plugins. i bought it the minute came out. protools was gammy before that, dunno what i bought it for! and i barely had my digi001 before they stopped supporting it. im never upgrading... !baggyyyy

alternatively you could download the wrapper on bittorrent or somewhere without paying.
