I'll be damned if I'm reposting the band picture here again but I was just laughing , thinking oh look there's the runners with the bright clown laces, I remember them. I also remember the mong took them off in an attempt to stink out the building.
Isn't that so fucking sad that I remember that? No, really.

Actually, does anyone else have that - the whole recollection of mundane facts? I amaze myself that I can retain such pointless rubbish and yet forget real stuff. I can remember what my brother's friends got in the leaving cert in 1998..I remember the licence plate of the car my parents had in 1994.

BZG 503. see? :(

My brother is worse though - he can recite the 50 US states backwards in order of size. And he knows all the US presidents in order. All of them. And their dates.

Can you dock yourself rep points?
I think it should be a feature for the more self-deprecating among us.

Oh and Ro, it didn't work for me back a few days ago either. 18pc was all I got. See I remember the exact percentage. Is that normal??
All better now though.

How come every Irish indie band have their promo photos taken by a girl?

Seriously... every single one.

Not so. Unless you want to discuss the parameters of the term Indie. And i don't think anyone wants to go there. *shudder*

I refer you to the rather good and well-regarded photographer James Goulden of aaaphotos.org. He's done promo shots for manys a band.

That's exactly the source he used!! The very same ones. I wasn't gonna mention encyclopedias at all coz I thought I'd geeked up the thread enough, but seeing as you said it first....heh.
Yeah they are the fuckin business, those world books. I think we got ours in 1981, prior to my conception. They're hilariously outdated in places but they're still mighty tomes so dey'are. And back in the early 90s, they were an invaluable resource for manys a school project!

Just looked and a 2002 set would cost between $600 and $900. Sigh.
