Chimps,
We've got Dacianos this week, who've made it over from the UK to play their first Irish show in multi-yonks. Frances Morgan (AKA The Worship Group) wuill provide support.
The extra-special international line up
will be: Barry Kavanagh, Frances Morgan, Joss Moorkens.
Dacianos have been described as "distinctly emotive", "gently
hypnotic", "starkly beautiful", "marvellously atmospheric"
and "Sunday afternoon sunlight" and it/they released two mini-albums:
the frozen-man-just-released-from-block-of-ice "Mis-showbusiness"
(2000) and the thaw-out reflective taoist epic "Hold Music" (2002).
SUNDAY 29 AUGUST, Lazybird, upstairs in the INTERNATIONAL BAR,
Wicklow St, DUBLIN. DOORS 8.30PM, ADMISSION 7 EURO.
That's the good news. The even better news is that the evening will
begin with a rare live performance from British act The Worship
Group.
