cubase sx hiss (1 Viewer)

hi,
i'm using cubase sx for pc and got unwanted noise in the left speaker after accidently pressing sync on the transport bar during playback. i can't get rid of it, but the noise is only there for that one particular session i.e. my other sessions play fine. help would be appreciated.

Not sure what the sync button on Cubase does but if it's looking for external sync from adat or spdif the noise is most likely a clock problem i.e. the audio is not on internal sync anymore.
