ah yeah.It's maybe late 80's, Christian Slater and Wynona Ryder are in it.It's basically a dark humored rip on all those old John Hughes films. well worth a look. You'd get it in any video shop.Channel 4 tend to show it like 4 or 5 times a year,you've probably seen it without realising it
