cooking classes? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone here ever taken cooking classes? I'm toying with the idea of taking them during the Summer but I'm not sure whether I would just be better off spending the money on ingredients myself and just practicing and creating stuff myself.

So tell me what you think..And also cos I'm bored how did you get into cooking?

I went on a one day course in Thailand. Of the 4 things we made that day I still make Pad Thai every now and then. I doubt I would have bothered learning from a book.

I tried to make chicken jalfrezi from a book. It took me 4 attempts to get it close to edible. Tasted nothing like chicken jalfrezi though.
