Need something to convert avi files to a format that allows me to burn them to a DVD (downloaded a couple of burning programs that look for ISO, DVD files etc.). Everything searched for so far turns up trial versions that leave a 'watermark' and all that muck. Anyone know of a (free) program that does all this jazz? Cheers.

I'm using DVD Flick now.
It's completely free (not a trial version) & is easy to use.

Doesn't have all the bells & whistles of Nero but you don't get many bells or whistles for no pounds nuh-pence.
