Bit of a guilty pleasure this. After Ramsey shouting at people it's one of the best foodie shows. Although it's more about people interacting and giving out about each other rather than food. Yer man who does the voice over takes the piss non stop.

Dave Lamb is the guy who does the voice over. I was reading an interview with him a while ago. He was saying he started off writing his own script but now the writers do it for him in his "style".

It's a great show, although sometimes I find it extremely uncomfortable watching and have to change the channel.

Thumped had our own version of this a few years ago, but there were no prizes up for grabs, just 'best dessert' kudos.
